2020 BMW M2 — water spots keep coming back after correction

Paint looked perfect after polishing, but water spotting returns after outdoor washes. I do not want to keep removing clear coat. What process change would you make first? I would rather test this logically than replace parts. What would you check next?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2020 BMW M2 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I parked the 2020 BMW M2 and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
