2020 BMW M2 — what should a real pre-purchase inspection include?

2020 BMW M2 Competition, about 112,500 miles. I am paying an independent shop to inspect a used car. Besides a scan and putting it on a lift, what should I ask them to check so it is more than a quick state-inspection-style look?

I'd treat this like cash with a paper trail. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2020 BMW M2, not a parking lot at night. That's where I'd start. On “what should a real pre-purchase inspection include,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I screenshotted the quote for later.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2020 BMW M2. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

Don't get cute with the meetup or the payment. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2020 BMW M2 is enough reason to walk. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2020 BMW M2 in Cleveland with 112,500 miles. No need to make it theatrical. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2020 BMW M2, not a parking lot at night. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
