2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2 — air down for trails but still drive pavement between sections

Trail system has short paved sections between dirt. What's a sensible pressure strategy if I don't want to air up/down every 10 minutes but also don't want to overheat the tires? I'm in Nationwide.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Capture voltage while the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

If it were in my driveway, write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 does it — then decide on parts. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. The universe charges extra for guessing. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Tried a second charger / second scan and the story on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 didn't change. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

If it were in my driveway, loaded-suspension checks on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Ask what changed right before it started. Capture voltage while the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Move a coil or plug on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. Save the big job until that test fails. On “air down for trails but still drive,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and see if the fault moves. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
