2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2 — anyone else: DPF regens seem more frequent lately

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2, about 4,800 miles. Truck is doing more short trips lately and I feel like active regens are happening much more often. No codes. Is there a good way to confirm soot load/regeneration frequency with a scan tool before assuming something is wrong? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Agree — and I'd add this: On the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in North Jersey, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “anyone else: dpf regens seem more frequent,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in North Jersey with 4,800 miles. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Following up on anyone else: dpf regens seem more frequent: still happening, but I have better notes now. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
