2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2 — question: Car hesitates once, then drives normally

Every few days I get a brief hesitation pulling away from a stop. It feels like the engine cuts power for half a second and then everything is normal. No stored light on the dash. Wondering what live data would be worth logging. I'm in San Diego. Any data points from owners would help.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Capture voltage while the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Save the big job until that test fails. On “question: car hesitates once, then drives normally,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Did the worksheet show tax yet? This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'd rather be boring and correct. I'll poke at it this weekend.

I went back under the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

Log the conditions before you spend. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “question: car hesitates once, then drives normally,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Move a coil or plug on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.
