2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 — wireless CarPlay drops at the same intersection

BoostGuy47Community StarterFeb 24, 20262021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2Boston
2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2, about 29,000 miles. Wireless CarPlay is reliable almost everywhere but disconnects at the same intersection on my commute. Does consistent location point strongly to RF interference, and what would you test to confirm? I am in Boston.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Boston with 29,000 miles. That's the whole play. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Was this after sitting overnight? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Boston, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “wireless carplay drops at the same intersection,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Following up on wireless carplay drops at the same intersection: still happening, but I have better notes now. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
