2021 Hyundai Palisade — surface rust underneath a winter daily

There is early surface rust on brackets, fasteners and seams underneath, but nothing structural. For a salt-belt car, what treatment slows it down without creating a hard coating that traps moisture?

I'd pick the setup I'll actually live with in slush. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2021 Hyundai Palisade in Bay Area. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

This is a climate question as much as a tire question. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. I'd do that before spending real money. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. If Bay Area only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2021 Hyundai Palisade can be the saner daily. I'd do that before spending real money. On “surface rust underneath a winter daily,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2021 Hyundai Palisade in Bay Area. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.
