2021 Mazda CX-5 — dyno numbers changed more than the car feels

NewCarNomadCommunity StarterFeb 7, 20262021 Mazda CX-5 TurboNYC
Two dyno sessions on different days show a noticeable power difference, but the car feels the same. How much can temperature, correction method, tire pressure and dyno type move the result? I am in NYC. I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Mazda CX-5 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2021 Mazda CX-5 in NYC. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Mazda CX-5, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Mazda CX-5 in NYC, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “5 — dyno numbers changed more than,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2021 Mazda CX-5 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
