2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC — buyer sends a vehicle-history website I have never heard of

2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, about 67,000 miles. Someone interested in my car insists I buy a report from a specific unfamiliar website before they will meet. Is this a common scam pattern and what information should I avoid entering?

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Call your insurer in Brooklyn before you fall in love with the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC. If they balk, that's your answer. On “benz glc — buyer sends a vehicle-history,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Call your insurer in Brooklyn before you fall in love with the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
