2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC — open carrier or enclosed for a normal enthusiast car?

MarketDIYer623Community StarterFeb 2, 20262021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300Central Jersey
2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, about 71,000 miles. The car is valuable to me but not exotic. Enclosed transport costs noticeably more. When is the extra protection actually worth paying for versus a reputable open carrier? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money. What would you check next?

Following up on benz glc — open carrier or enclosed: still happening, but I have better notes now. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC in Central Jersey, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “benz glc — open carrier or enclosed,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC in Central Jersey with 71,000 miles. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. I'll update if anything new shows up.
