2021 Range Rover Sport — battery dies after the car sits for a weekend

EVHauler534Community StarterJul 26, 20262021 Range Rover Sport HSEOrange County
Battery passes a quick test and charging voltage looks normal, but after two or three days parked the car sometimes will not crank. What is the cleanest parasitic-draw test on a modern car that takes time to go to sleep? I am in Orange County. Mostly looking for the right next step.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2021 Range Rover Sport, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2021 Range Rover Sport in Orange County. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Capture voltage while the 2021 Range Rover Sport is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “battery dies after the car sits for,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2021 Range Rover Sport, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.
