2025 Porsche Macan Electric 4S — anyone else: USB ports and wireless charging both quit

DetailShopper95Community StarterAug 30, 20262025 Porsche Macan Electric 4SLas Vegas
Phone charging stopped on both the wireless pad and USB ports, but everything else in the cabin seems normal. Before I pull trim apart, are these usually on one fuse/module or separate circuits? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Log the conditions before you spend. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2025 Porsche Macan, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. On “anyone else: usb ports and wireless charging,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

OP here — recorded a short video and noted speed, temp, and whether it was in gear. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

Quick add on that: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2025 Porsche Macan, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Two 2025 Porsche Macans can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. That's the branch I'd chase this week. The universe charges extra for guessing. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

It did anyone else: usb ports and wireless charging twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Log the conditions before you spend. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2025 Porsche Macan and see if the fault moves. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “anyone else: usb ports and wireless charging,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

If it were in my driveway, write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2025 Porsche Macan does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Stop there until you know. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2025 Porsche Macan, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “anyone else: usb ports and wireless charging,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Two 2025 Porsche Macans can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Do that first. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd push back a little: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2025 Porsche Macan, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2025 Porsche Macan in Las Vegas. Do that first. I keep a notes app thread for this now.
