2021 Toyota Highlander — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update

2021 Toyota Highlander XLE, about 56,000 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Toyota Highlander owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2021 Toyota Highlander in Raleigh with 56,000 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Toyota Highlander, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Do that first. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
