2021 Toyota Highlander — vibration under acceleration but not while coasting

The car is smooth at the same road speed when I lift off, but under moderate acceleration I can feel a vibration through the floor. What would you inspect first to separate axle/driveline issues from an engine mount?

Log the conditions before you spend. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2021 Toyota Highlander catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. On “vibration under acceleration but not while coasting,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I'll poke at it this weekend.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2021 Toyota Highlander catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Do that first. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Ask what changed right before it started. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2021 Toyota Highlander, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Do that first. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Two 2021 Toyota Highlanders can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'd rather be boring and correct. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2021 Toyota Highlander and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Do that first. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.
