2022 Cadillac Escalade Sport — would you pay more for documentation than lower mileage?

EcoGuyCommunity StarterFeb 9, 20262022 Cadillac Escalade SportCharlotte
2022 Cadillac Escalade Sport, about 48,000 miles. Comparing two older enthusiast cars: one has lower mileage but thin history, the other has higher mileage with years of invoices and owner notes. Assuming both inspect well, how much value do you put on records? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Agree — and I'd add this: A second data point from another 2022 Cadillac Escalade owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
