2022 Cadillac Escalade — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter?

2022 Cadillac Escalade Sport, about 55,500 miles. A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Cadillac Escalade in Phoenix, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
