2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport — need advice: Small oil leak or just old residue?

2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport, about 22,000 miles. There is a damp area around the lower side of the engine but nothing reaches the ground overnight. I cleaned it once and it slowly came back. What's the best way to trace whether this is an active leak versus years of grime? Any data points from owners would help.

Ask what changed right before it started. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2022 Honda Accord catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. That's the branch I'd chase this week. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Not driving it hard until I know more.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Two 2022 Honda Accords can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “need advice: small oil leak or just,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2022 Honda Accord, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. The universe charges extra for guessing. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

If it were in my driveway, a pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2022 Honda Accord is losing coolant with no puddle. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Stop there until you know. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Asking because it changes the advice: A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2022 Honda Accord is losing coolant with no puddle. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Heat soak after errands is the other window.
