2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport — would you pay more for documentation than lower mileage?

Comparing two older enthusiast cars: one has lower mileage but thin history, the other has higher mileage with years of invoices and owner notes. Assuming both inspect well, how much value do you put on records? I'm in New York. I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts. What am I missing?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Honda Accord in New York, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “would you pay more for documentation than,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2022 Honda Accord in New York. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Honda Accord before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Honda Accord, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
