2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC — question: Used truck versus new compact pickup

Same money buys an older full-size truck with capability I may never use or a newer compact truck with better fuel economy and warranty. Anyone make this switch and regret the smaller truck? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Seattle changed the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE comparison more than the sale price did. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Did the worksheet show tax yet? If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Call your insurer in Seattle before you fall in love with the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE. If they balk, that's your answer. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

OP update: I got two written quotes on the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE and the out-the-door gap is bigger than the ads made it look. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE in Seattle. Did the worksheet show tax yet? If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.
