2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE — single clunk over small sharp bumps

CanyonMiles650Community StarterDec 28, 20252022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATICNationwide
There is one front-end clunk over pothole edges and driveway lips, but larger smooth bumps do not reproduce it. How would you isolate end links, strut mounts, control-arm bushings and ball joints? I am in Nationwide. Mileage is about 96,000.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE in Nationwide, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “benz gle — single clunk over small,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Quick add on that: A second data point from another 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Stop there until you know. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. On the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE in Nationwide, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “benz gle — single clunk over small,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Do that first. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
