2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE — fun daily that still works for one-car ownership

2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE, about 48,000 miles. I want something I enjoy on back roads but still need to commute, carry luggage and survive bad weather. Trying to avoid buying a car that only makes sense on paper. What compromises have actually mattered after a year? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first. Ambient temp was about 72°F when I noticed it.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Toyota RAV4 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Toyota RAV4 in Houston, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “fun daily that still works for one-car,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. That's my plan before I call anyone.
