2023 BMW M340i — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update

After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service? I am in Denver. Mileage is about 18,000.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 BMW M340i before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2023 BMW M340i, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2023 BMW M340i. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Yes, with one caveat: A second data point from another 2023 BMW M340i owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Was this after sitting overnight? I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

This is from a 2023 BMW M340i in Denver. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Yes, with one caveat: On the 2023 BMW M340i in Denver, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “infotainment became glitchy after an ota update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
