2023 BMW M340i — pPI found $1,800 of upcoming work

Inspection found several real maintenance items but nothing catastrophic. I still like the car. Do you treat the shop estimate as a dollar-for-dollar negotiation point or just decide whether the asking price still makes sense? If I figure it out I will update the thread. Mileage is about 31,000.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2023 BMW M340i. Sleeping on the number either way.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If one piece looks too good on the 2023 BMW M340i, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

If I were shopping this, in Philadelphia, insurance quotes flipped a 2023 BMW M340i comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. Stop there until you know. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.
