2023 BMW M340i — rear end still feels floaty after new shocks

Shocks were replaced and there are no obvious loose parts, but the rear still feels vague over highway undulations. What alignment, bushing, tire or installation issues could mimic worn dampers? Mileage is about 31,000.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 BMW M340i owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 BMW M340i before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2023 BMW M340i in Florida. That's the whole play. I'll update if anything new shows up.
