I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2023 BMW M340i so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2023 BMW M340i in Dallas with 32,500 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I would not stare at the monthly. Two 2023 BMW M340i quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2023 BMW M340i in Dallas with 32,500 miles. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I would not stare at the monthly. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 BMW M340i and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Quick add on that: Ask for out-the-door on the 2023 BMW M340i with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. Walked a dealership this week on the 2023 BMW M340i (32,500 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Two 2023 BMW M340i quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
