2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 — cPO badge versus independent PPI

CleanDad31Community StarterApr 23, 20262023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 LimitedFlorida
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited, about 66,500 miles. The dealer says the car passed the manufacturer CPO inspection and suggests an outside inspection is unnecessary. I like the warranty but still want an independent PPI. Overkill or sensible?

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Ask for out-the-door on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Florida with 66,500 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “cpo badge versus independent ppi,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I screenshotted the quote for later.
