2023 Lincoln Navigator — buzzing noise only at one engine RPM

TrackPilot272Community StarterJun 22, 20262023 Lincoln Navigator ReserveBoston
2023 Lincoln Navigator Reserve, about 11,000 miles. There is a light buzz from the dash at one narrow RPM range. It disappears above and below that speed. Any good method for locating trim resonance without randomly adding foam everywhere? I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. That's the branch I'd chase this week. This is from a 2023 Lincoln Navigator in Boston with 11,000 miles. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

I went back under the 2023 Lincoln Navigator and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Move a coil or plug on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “buzzing noise only at one engine rpm,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.
