Need advice: A/C is cold while driving, warm at stoplights

RotorMomCommunity StarterAug 20, 20262023 Lincoln Navigator ReservePennsylvania
A/C gets properly cold on the highway but becomes noticeably warmer at long lights. It cools down again almost immediately once the car is moving. Could this still be a refrigerant issue or does that point more toward airflow/fans? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

I would not stare at the monthly. In Pennsylvania, insurance quotes flipped a 2023 Lincoln Navigator comparison for me more than the sale price did. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Fair point. Counterpoint: If one piece looks too good on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2023 Lincoln Navigator in Pennsylvania. Stop there until you know. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “a/c is cold while driving, warm at,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “a/c is cold while driving, warm at,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 Lincoln Navigator price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2023 Lincoln Navigator in Pennsylvania. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Ask for out-the-door on the 2023 Lincoln Navigator with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2023 Lincoln Navigator in Pennsylvania. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'd rather be boring and correct. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.
