2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 — dealer lowered price but added accessories back in

UsedCarBuilder830Community StarterApr 17, 20262023 Mercedes-AMG C43Cleveland
2023 Mercedes-AMG C43, about 61,500 miles. We agreed on a vehicle price, then the worksheet included dealer-installed products I did not ask for. The total is now higher than before. What is the cleanest way to negotiate from an out-the-door number? I am in Cleveland.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Call your insurer in Cleveland before you fall in love with the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43. If they balk, that's your answer. On “amg c43 — dealer lowered price but,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 in Cleveland with 61,500 miles. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 in Cleveland with 61,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Sleeping on the number either way.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 in Cleveland with 61,500 miles. That's the whole play. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Call your insurer in Cleveland before you fall in love with the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “amg c43 — dealer lowered price but,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.
