2024 BMW i4 — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions — second opinion before I spend money

2024 BMW i4 eDrive40, about 36,000 miles. I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 BMW i4 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'd rather be boring and correct. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 BMW i4 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Stop there until you know. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
