2024 BMW i4 — how much room below MSRP when inventory is normal?

CamberTraveler327Community StarterMar 5, 20262024 BMW i4 eDrive40Tampa
2024 BMW i4 eDrive40, about 34,500 miles. I am shopping a new car with several similar units sitting nearby. Dealer started at MSRP plus fees. What is the best way to use competing written quotes without turning the process into endless back-and-forth? I am in Tampa.

I'd treat this like cash with a paper trail. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2024 BMW i4 is enough reason to walk. Then you'll know the next fork. On “how much room below msrp when inventory,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2024 BMW i4. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Don't get cute with the meetup or the payment. Bill of sale, VIN, odometer, and names matching the title — I'd want all four on the 2024 BMW i4. That's where I'd start. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Asking because it changes the advice: Bill of sale, VIN, odometer, and names matching the title — I'd want all four on the 2024 BMW i4. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
