2024 BMW i4 eDrive40, about 7,000 miles. I do not need financing, but I keep hearing conflicting advice about when to mention that. I mostly want a clean transaction. Does payment method really change how you should negotiate vehicle price?

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 BMW i4 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Sleeping on the number either way.

I'd push back a little: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 BMW i4 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2024 BMW i4 in Washington DC with 7,000 miles. That's the whole play. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 BMW i4 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2024 BMW i4 in Washington DC with 7,000 miles. That's the whole play. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 BMW i4 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 BMW i4 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “should i tell the dealer i am,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.
