2024 Chevrolet Corvette — is this actually a good used-car deal? — Pennsylvania owner

CamberTraveler327Community StarterOct 17, 20252024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51Pennsylvania
2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51, about 45,500 miles. The online price looks competitive, but I am trying to judge the entire deal rather than the headline number. What should I compare besides mileage, history, condition and a PPI before deciding what it is worth?

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. Two 2024 Chevrolet Corvette quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette in Pennsylvania with 45,500 miles. Was this after sitting overnight? If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

If I were shopping this, two 2024 Chevrolet Corvette quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. No need to make it theatrical. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette in Pennsylvania with 45,500 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'd rather be boring and correct. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

I would not stare at the monthly. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. Just my two cents from doing this recently. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Asking because it changes the advice: Two 2024 Chevrolet Corvette quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. Was this after sitting overnight? Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. On “is this actually a good used-car deal?,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I screenshotted the quote for later.

I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. Two 2024 Chevrolet Corvette quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette in Pennsylvania with 45,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Same neighborhood, different next step: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.
