2024 Chevrolet Corvette — should I tell the dealer I am paying cash up front? — anyone dealt with this recently?

2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51, about 31,500 miles. I do not need financing, but I keep hearing conflicting advice about when to mention that. I mostly want a clean transaction. Does payment method really change how you should negotiate vehicle price? I am in Houston. I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money. I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

I would not stare at the monthly. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

If I were shopping this, if one piece looks too good on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. When does it actually happen? Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. That's the sequence I'd use. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “should i tell the dealer i am,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. No need to make it theatrical. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Asking because it changes the advice: If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Fair point. Counterpoint: If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.
