2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave — question: Would you pay more for documentation than lower mileage?

Comparing two older enthusiast cars: one has lower mileage but thin history, the other has higher mileage with years of invoices and owner notes. Assuming both inspect well, how much value do you put on records? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Jeep Gladiator owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
