2024 Jeep Gladiator — going one inch smaller for winter wheels — buyer question from Boston

NoMarkupEnthusiast497Community StarterSep 4, 20262024 Jeep Gladiator MojaveBoston
I want smaller winter wheels for more sidewall. Overall tire diameter can stay close, but I am worried about caliper and spoke clearance. What measurements should be checked before ordering? I am in Boston. Mostly looking for the right next step.

I'd pick the setup I'll actually live with in slush. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Salt and cold mornings punish cheap shortcuts. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. That's where I'd start. On “going one inch smaller for winter wheels,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

This is a climate question as much as a tire question. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I already checked the easy fluid levels.
