2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club — question: Tune transformed the car, but what should I log?

2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club, about 48,000 miles. Running a conservative tune and the car feels great. I don't want to judge reliability by seat-of-the-pants though. Which parameters would you log periodically—fuel trims, knock, boost target, temperatures, something else? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Same neighborhood, different next step: A second data point from another 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata first. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata in Houston, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “5 miata club — question: tune transformed,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata in Houston with 48,000 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Quick add on that: On the 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata in Houston, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “5 miata club — question: tune transformed,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata in Houston with 48,000 miles. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
