2024 Polestar 2 — factory order status has not moved in weeks

BoxerHunter130Community StarterMay 28, 20262024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual MotorLos Angeles
2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 38,500 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones? I am in Los Angeles. I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Polestar 2 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Polestar 2, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Polestar 2 in Los Angeles, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Polestar 2 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Los Angeles with 38,500 miles. That's the whole play. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
