2024 Polestar 2 — water spots keep coming back after correction

2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 21,500 miles. Paint looked perfect after polishing, but water spotting returns after outdoor washes. I do not want to keep removing clear coat. What process change would you make first?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Polestar 2, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Polestar 2 in Detroit, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “water spots keep coming back after correction,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Detroit with 21,500 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Polestar 2 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Do that first. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Same neighborhood, different next step: A second data point from another 2024 Polestar 2 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Polestar 2 in Detroit with 21,500 miles. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.
