2024 Ram 1500 — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter? — trying to narrow this down

A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Ram 1500, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
