2025 BMW M3 — factory order status has not moved in weeks — anyone dealt with this recently?

2025 BMW M3 Competition, about 18,500 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones?

Title status is the whole conversation. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2025 BMW M3 is enough reason to walk. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Connecticut changed the 2025 BMW M3 comparison more than the sale price did. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd treat this like cash with a paper trail. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2025 BMW M3 is enough reason to walk. That's where I'd start. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' I screenshotted the quote for later.

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2025 BMW M3, not a parking lot at night. Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Title status is the whole conversation. Independent PPI on the 2025 BMW M3 is cheap insurance versus a seller who “already had a friend look at it.” I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.

Don't get cute with the meetup or the payment. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2025 BMW M3, not a parking lot at night. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
