2025 BMW M3 — how much room below MSRP when inventory is normal? — Raleigh / update

I am shopping a new car with several similar units sitting nearby. Dealer started at MSRP plus fees. What is the best way to use competing written quotes without turning the process into endless back-and-forth? I would rather test this logically than replace parts. What would you check next?

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2025 BMW M3 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “how much room below msrp when inventory,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 BMW M3 in Raleigh. That's the sequence I'd use. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If one piece looks too good on the 2025 BMW M3, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2025 BMW M3 in Raleigh. That's the whole play. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2025 BMW M3 numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2025 BMW M3 in Raleigh. Stop there until you know. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I asked about how much room below msrp when inventory again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2025 BMW M3 in Raleigh. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'd rather be boring and correct. Sleeping on the number either way.

Not convinced that's the whole story. In Raleigh, insurance quotes flipped a 2025 BMW M3 comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.
