2025 BMW M3 — how much room below MSRP when inventory is normal? — second opinion before I spend money

2025 BMW M3 Competition, about 17,000 miles. I am shopping a new car with several similar units sitting nearby. Dealer started at MSRP plus fees. What is the best way to use competing written quotes without turning the process into endless back-and-forth? I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2025 BMW M3 in Portland, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “how much room below msrp when inventory,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
