2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid, about 19,500 miles. Same commute and driver, but average MPG is down noticeably. Tires are properly inflated. What hybrid-specific data would you inspect before blaming the high-voltage battery? I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

Ask what changed right before it started. Move a coil or plug on the 2025 Honda Civic if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.
