2025 Honda Civic — should I tell the dealer I am paying cash up front?

2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid, about 23,000 miles. I do not need financing, but I keep hearing conflicting advice about when to mention that. I mostly want a clean transaction. Does payment method really change how you should negotiate vehicle price? I am in New York. I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money. I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2025 Honda Civic, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2025 Honda Civic before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
