2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid — anyone else: Hybrid MPG suddenly down with no warning lights

2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid, about 118,000 miles. Same commute, same driver, but average MPG dropped pretty sharply over the last month. Tire pressure is good. What hybrid-specific things are worth checking before assuming the battery is getting weak? I'm in Atlanta. I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts. What am I missing?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2025 Honda Civic in Atlanta, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “anyone else: hybrid mpg suddenly down with,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 Honda Civic in Atlanta with 118,000 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
