2025 Lucid Air — rear tires are disappearing faster than expected

RoadDetailerCommunity StarterMar 23, 20262025 Lucid Air PureFlorida
2025 Lucid Air Pure, about 7,500 miles. The car is aligned and pressures are correct, but rear tire life is much shorter than my previous gas cars. Has rotation strategy, tire choice or driving style made the biggest difference? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses. What would you check next?

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Move a coil or plug on the 2025 Lucid Air if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. Save the big job until that test fails. On “rear tires are disappearing faster than expected,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Tried a second charger / second scan and the story on the 2025 Lucid Air didn't change. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2025 Lucid Air, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Stop there until you know. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Only after sitting overnight so far.

If it were in my driveway, loaded-suspension checks on the 2025 Lucid Air catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Save the big job until that test fails. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If that fails I'll eat the diagnostic fee.

I went back under the 2025 Lucid Air and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Log the conditions before you spend. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2025 Lucid Air, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. On “rear tires are disappearing faster than expected,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 Lucid Air in Florida with 7,500 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Capture voltage while the 2025 Lucid Air is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'll poke at it this weekend.
