2025 Toyota Camry — factory order status has not moved in weeks — second opinion before I spend money

2025 Toyota Camry XSE, about 12,500 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks.

I'd treat this like cash with a paper trail. Independent PPI on the 2025 Toyota Camry is cheap insurance versus a seller who “already had a friend look at it.” I'd do that before spending real money. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Detroit changed the 2025 Toyota Camry comparison more than the sale price did. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2025 Toyota Camry is enough reason to walk. That's where I'd start. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2025 Toyota Camry (12,500 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Don't get cute with the meetup or the payment. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2025 Toyota Camry is enough reason to walk. Then you'll know the next fork. Stop there until you know. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Title status is the whole conversation. Bill of sale, VIN, odometer, and names matching the title — I'd want all four on the 2025 Toyota Camry. That's where I'd start. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.
