2025 Toyota Camry XSE — would a major price cut make you worry about resale?

A manufacturer cutting MSRP or adding huge incentives is great if you're buying now, but painful for recent buyers. How much do you factor future price cuts into EV/luxury-car decisions? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2025 Toyota Camry, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “would a major price cut make you,” that was the fork that mattered for me. When does it actually happen? This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Toyota Camry — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Update: the cheap test changed the symptom, so I'm not throwing parts yet. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2025 Toyota Camry charge sessions. I'd do that before spending real money. Was this after sitting overnight? Make the next action something you can finish this week. Not driving it hard until I know more.
