A/C is cold while driving, warm at stoplights

A/C gets properly cold on the highway but becomes noticeably warmer at long lights. It cools down again almost immediately once the car is moving. Could this still be a refrigerant issue or does that point more toward airflow/fans? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Was this after sitting overnight? Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and see if the fault moves. Save the big job until that test fails. This is from a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in San Diego. Was this after sitting overnight? If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Quick add on that: If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “a/c is cold while driving, warm at,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro does it — then decide on parts. Save the big job until that test fails. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

It did a/c is cold while driving, warm at twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Only after sitting overnight so far.

I went back under the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

If it were in my driveway, capture voltage while the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in San Diego. That's the whole play. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.
